Rahman Abayisenga PT
Rahman is a bilingual (French and English) Registered Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Master in Physiotherapy in 2023 after completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Human Kinetics. He is passionate about helping others reach their personal goals by providing the support needed using a patient-centered approach.
While completing his master’s, Rahman worked as a Student Trainer for the University of Ottawa Women’s Soccer Team. Since graduating he has worked in various physiotherapy settings in Ottawa including in private, hospital and long-term care. His involvement in multiple fields has given him the opportunity to help improve the well-being of diverse community members with varied needs.
Rahman has a strong interest in sports injuries and orthopedic conditions and will continue to complete the Orthopedic Division Level Education System, having already completed the Level 1 and Level 2 (Upper) courses.
During his spare time, Rahman enjoys maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle by playing competitive soccer all year round. He also enjoys weightlifting, cycling, yoga, reading and spending time with loved ones.

Yara Harb

Yara is a Registered Physiotherapist. She completed her Bachelors of Science with a Specialization in Biochemistry in 2009 and her Masters of Health Science in Physiotherapy in 2012 at the University of Ottawa. After graduating, Yara has been working in the Private Sector where she acquired experience in Neuro Rehabilitation, Vestibular Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She also has experience in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation as she has completed various courses on managing Urinary Incontinence, Diastasis Recti, Pregnancy and Pelvic Girdle Pain.
Yara became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy after obtaining her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association – Orthopedic Division in order to further improve her skills, clinical reasoning and integrate an Evidence-Informed Practice Approach to cases.
In her practice, Yara relies heavily on the Therapeutic Alliance forged between herself and the patient where she emphasizes the importance of a team-based approach to treatment. Patients are expected to complete their Home Exercise Program so as to ensure achievement of the best recovery. From her end, she is committed to providing the best quality care to her patients and is vested as they are in their healing. Her approach to treatment is that of the patient’s attainment of their functional goals and their overall well-being.

Jean-Luc Robinson Physiotherapy Resident
Jean-Luc Robinson is a Physiotherapy Resident. He completed his Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics (BHK) at the University of Ottawa in 2021 before pursuing his Master’s in Physical Therapy at Western University. Having completed his Level 1 Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIMS), Jean-Luc takes pride in employing an active approach to physiotherapy, combining targeted exercises and education with manual therapy and other therapeutic modalities to achieve optimal outcomes.
With a lifelong passion for movement and sport, Jean-Luc competed in judo throughout his childhood and adolescence, which shaped his appreciation for physical resilience and dedication. He continues to enjoy weightlifting, traveling, and cooking, all of which reflect his balanced approach to life and well-being.
In his practice, Jean-Luc emphasizes collaboration with his patients to help them achieve their functional goals and return to the activities they love. His intrinsic motivation to help others improve their quality of life is evident in his patient-centered care. Caitlin Roe

Caitlin is a Registered Physiotherapist, having graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2022 with her Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy, and in 2019 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Human Kinetics. Caitlin developed a passion for rehabilitation at a young age competing in various sports such as alpine ski racing, rowing, and soccer. After experiencing her own sports injuries and rehabilitation at this time, she ultimately stumbled upon physiotherapy as a dream career. Athletic endeavours aside, Caitlin understands how frustrating any injury can be, and strives to help all individuals return to doing what they love to do best, regardless of activity level.
Caitlin seeks to truly get to know what motivates you, bringing empathy and compassion to her practice. She combines specifically targeted exercises with a hands-on, manual therapy approach. She is also a strong believer in evidenced-based practice, staying up to date with current research. Caitlin believes that there is empowerment in education, and she strives to educate and engage her patients, putting them at the centre of their recovery journey! Caitlin has completed her Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) Part A: Lumbar Spine (The McKenzie Institute Canada) to allow better ease of diagnosis and treatment of lower back pain.

Santi Tellez Alvarez PT
Santiago (Santi) is a bilingual Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2023 after completing his bachelors in Kinesiology at Western University in London. During his undergraduate studies, Santi volunteered as an athletic trainer with the Jr. Mustangs Football team and developed an interest in orthopaedics and sport rehab.
Through clinical placements: in-patient neuro, cardio-medicine, and outpatient orthopaedics Santi has developed a passion for working one on one with individuals to achieve their personal goals.
